Why I Started Home First Shower & Bath
Before starting Home First Shower & Bath, I worked in in-home bathroom remodeling sales throughout the Cincinnati area. I sat down with dozens of homeowners to talk about their bathrooms, and I kept seeing the same problem.
Many of the people I met—especially older homeowners—had a legitimate reason for wanting to replace their tub or shower. Sometimes it was outdated. Sometimes getting over the side of the bathtub was becoming difficult or unsafe. They wanted a quality solution, but too often, the price put the project out of reach.
That's really where the idea for Home First Shower & Bath started.
I knew there had to be a way to provide homeowners with a beautiful, quality bathroom without building the kind of massive overhead that can drive remodeling prices so high.
And I wasn't starting from scratch.
My father, Clint, brings approximately 30 years of hands-on construction, remodeling and accessibility experience. He's spent decades working in people's homes and installing bathrooms and accessibility improvements designed to be practical, dependable and built to last.
So we decided to combine what each of us brings to the table: my experience meeting with homeowners and understanding what they're looking for, and Clint's decades of hands-on experience actually doing the work.
We're keeping Home First Shower & Bath intentionally small and personal. When you invite us into your home, you're dealing directly with the people responsible for your project.
Our goal isn't to become the biggest bathroom remodeling company in Cincinnati. We want to provide quality bathroom solutions, treat people fairly, charge reasonable prices and build a company that homeowners are comfortable recommending to their friends and family.

Do you publish exact package prices online?
No. Final pricing depends on the bathroom, selected wall system, fixtures, shower door or curtain configuration and any conditions discovered on site.
Can you make the shower easier to use for an older homeowner?

Do you pressure homeowners to sign the same day?
No. The goal is to inspect the project, explain the options and give you a clear price. You can decide whether Home First is the right fit for your home.
What warranty do you provide?
Home First Shower & Bath provides a 2-year workmanship warranty covering installation defects, in addition to applicable manufacturer warranties on the products used.
How long does installation take?
Many standard wet-space projects may be completed in about one day, but timing can vary depending on product selection, existing conditions and hidden issues behind the current tub or shower.
